BMW M1

The M1 is important to the modern BMW story, despite being unlike any other BMW. A mid-engined 'junior' supercar, designed by Giugiaro, and built by Lamborghini (up to a point) is very much not the Munich company's core design philosophy! Designed as a Gp5 racer to take up the mantle of the CSL at a higher level, it was a bit late to the party - but found fame in the Procar, F1 support races.

Tyre fitment was a staggered 205/55VR16 front tyre, and 225/50VR16 rear.
